It is Neuromon's ambition to become distributor for the Uscom BP+ system.
Through suprasystolic measurement the arterial blood wave form becomes available for the outpatient clinic. The procedure takes less than a minute longer than a normal automated blood pressure reading but provides a vast amount of extra data on wave form morphology, such as the first and second systolic peak crucial for a correct interpretation of the hemodynamics state. Because it records and displays the arterial blood pressure for a duration of 10 seconds it also informs on possible cardiac arrhythmia such as atrial fibrillation.
The Uscom BP+ system allows doctors to assess the effectiveness of arterial acceleration and cardiac output in a wink of an eye.
